Istikhara Dua:

Translation of Istikhara Dua:

If it is in your will and power to leave the Shia of the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the grace of your guardians, and your authority on your servants, then bring out verses from your book for us so that we can proceed to this task.
Then you state your need and problem and open the Quran. After that, you turn seven pages; on the seventh page, on the left page, count seven lines, and in the seventh line, find your meaning from that verse.

The second supplication of Istikhara:

You pick up the Qur’an and read this Istikhara prayer: «اَللّهُمَّ اِنّى تَفَأَّلْتُ بِكِتابِكَ، وَ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَیْكَ، فَاَرِنى مِنْ كِتابِكَ ما هُوَ مَكْتُومٌ مِنْ سِرِّكَ الْمَكْنُونِ فـى غَیْبِـكَ»؛

“O God, I have interpreted your book, and put my trust in you, so show me what is hidden from your book, from your secrets that are hidden in your unseen.”

Istikhara prayer of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) – the first method:

O Muhammad, whoever wants to do something and hesitates between two things and intends to choose the best one with me and act on it, when he wants to say:

You flip up with me and my passion for your whims, without what I want to what you want, for the sake of your ability, which is what you will have to do with what you want, I have it for her friend, and you do not fail me after my satisfaction with you, my command, with your mercy, which has expanded everything,

When she does so (and recites the Istikhara prayer), I also choose the near and distant benefits for her. For more info about Istikhara prayer, click here.

Istikhara prayer of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) – second method:

It has been narrated from the Messenger of God (PBUH) that he said: “When Istikhara with the Qur’an, first recite Surah Towheed three times.” Then send blessings on Muhammad and his family three times, then say:

“Oh God, I have meditated on your book and put my trust in you, so show me what is hidden from your book of your secrets that are hidden in your unseen.”

Just because of the supplication of Istikhara, the Qur’an read a prayer and, from the first line, a straight page, what this verse means.

Remember to mention that you are in Istikhara because you want to go to the time of Istikhara, which is essential.

Supplication of Istikhara Imam Sajjad (pbuh):

From a sentence of supplications of Imam Sajjad (Peace be upon him) in Sahifah Sajjadiyah, the supplication of Shamara 33, which is well known as the supplication of Istikhara:

“Oh God, I ask you to seek power with your knowledge, so bless Muhammad and his family, and decide for me with goodness, and inspire us to know the choice, and make that a pretext to be content with what you have decreed for us, and to submit to what you have judged, so remove from us the doubt of doubt, and support us with the certainty of the faithful, and do not let us know the inability of knowledge about what you have chosen, so we look down on your destiny and hate it The place of Your pleasure, and we sway to that which is farther than a good outcome and closer to the opposite of well-being, and endear to us what we dislike of Your judgment, and make easy for us what we find difficult in Your judgment, and inspire us to submit to what You have set forth for us from Your will, so that we do not like delaying what You have hastened, nor hastening what You have delayed, and We do not hate what you like, and we do not choose what you hate, and seal for us with that which is the most praiseworthy outcome, and the most honorable destination.

A Few Points About Istikhara

One of the properties of Istikhara, which is consultation with God Almighty, is that firstly, God Almighty puts everything that is for the good and interest of the servant into his heart. Secondly, everything that is for the good and good of his religion, this world, and the hereafter comes from the Almighty. It is directed towards him, and thirdly, as it appears from other narrations of the infallible, peace be upon them, that if after consulting with God Almighty, a person also consults with God’s servants, God, the Exalted, will speak what is good for Him to His servants. It flows and creates an opening for him.
