The text of Surah Al-Adiyat in Arabic:
- وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا
- فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا
- فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا
- فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا
- فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا
- إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ
- وَإِنَّهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ
- وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
- أَفَلا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ
- وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ
- إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌ
Translation of Surah Al-Adiyat in English:
And the valleys shall echo with a cry,
And the oases shall be raised with a shout,
And the morning shall come with a blaze,
And the earth shall be stirred with a rumble,
And its inhabitants shall be gathered in one place.
Verily, man is ungrateful to his Lord,
And verily, he is a witness to that,
And verily, he is passionate for the good,
Then will he not know when the graves are overturned
And the secrets of the chests are revealed?
Verily, their Lord on that Day shall be All-Aware of them.
