- تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ
- مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ
- سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ
- وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ
- فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ

My father’s hands were clenched in rage, his wealth was of no avail. He will be plunged into a fire of blazing flames, and his wife, the wood-carrier, will have a rope of fibre around her neck.
