The text of Surah Al-Humazah in Arabic:
- وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ
- الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالا وَعَدَّدَهُ
- يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ
- كَلاَّ لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ
- وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ
- نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ
- الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الأَفْئِدَةِ
- إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ
- فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ
Translation of Surah Al-Humazah in English:
Woe to every scorner and mocker, who has gathered wealth and counted it. He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. No indeed! He will be thrown into the Crusher. And what can make you know what is the Crusher? It is the fire of Allah, kindled, which leaps up over the hearts. Indeed, it is closed in on them in extended columns.

Surah Al-Humazah is a short surah of the Quran that is believed to bring many benefits to the reader. It is said to bring protection from enemies, increase in wealth, relief from distress, and a good end in life. It is also said to bring blessings and mercy from Allah, and increase in knowledge and understanding. Additionally, it is believed to bring blessings and protection to the family of the reader, and to help them in times of difficulty.
