The Quranic Dua – Your Shield Against Marital Stress

For those who feel their marriage is under siege by the pressures of life, there is a Dua from the Quran that acts as a shield, a source of immense peace and comfort. Before we reveal this Dua, let’s understand its significance.

The Significance of Duas in Islam

In Islam, a Dua is not just a plea; it is a conversation with Allah, a profound form of worship, and a means of direct communication with the divine. When you recite a Dua, you’re tapping into the very fabric of spiritual healing and guidance.

The Soothing Balm for Hearts – Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 63
“And [Allah] united their (believers’) hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah united them. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise.” (Quran, 8:63)

In Arabic (Original):
“وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَّا أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ”

Pronunciation:
“Waallafa bayna quloobihim law anfaqta ma fee al-ardi jamee’an ma allafta bayna quloobihim walakinna Allaha allafa baynahum innahu azeezun hakeem.”

In English:
“And He has united their hearts; if you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allah did unite them; indeed, He is Mighty, Wise.”
