Can We Give Zakat Without Telling?

Yes, giving Zakat without telling is encouraged in Islam, as it is considered a form of purification of wealth and a way to gain Allah’s favour . It is believed that giving charity in secret is more virtuous than doing so publicly. This is because it allows the act of giving to be purely for the sake of Allah  and not for any personal gain or recognition. The Quran also mentions that those who give in charity secretly will have their reward increased by Allah . Therefore, it is recommended to give Zakat privately and without telling anyone except those who need to know about the distribution of the charity.
