Translation of Surah Al-Inshiqaq in English:
When the sky is split open and yields to its Lord’s command, and when the earth is spread out and casts out whatever is in it and yields to its Lord’s command, O man, you are surely returning to your Lord, a hard return. But whoever is given his book in his right hand, will soon be given an easy reckoning and will return to his people joyfully. But whoever is given his book behind his back, will soon call for destruction and will enter into a blazing fire. He had indeed lived among his people joyfully. He thought he would never return. But yes, his Lord was ever watchful of him. So I swear by the twilight and the night and what it envelops, and by the moon when it is full, that you will surely ride from stage to stage. So why do they not believe and when the Quran is recited to them, do not prostrate? But those who disbelieve, deny. And Allah knows best what they are concealing. So give them the news of a painful punishment, except for those who believe and do good deeds; for them is a reward that will never be cut off.
