Translation of Surah At-Takwir in English:
When the sun is darkened, and when the stars are scattered, and when the mountains are made to pass away, and when the full-term she-camels are neglected, and when the wild beasts are gathered together, and when the seas are set boiling, and when the souls are coupled, and when the female (infant) buried alive is asked for what sin she was killed, and when the scrolls are laid open, and when the sky is stripped away, and when Hell is set blazing, and when Paradise is brought near, then shall each soul know what it has brought (with it). No! I swear by the stars that run and hide, and by the night as it comes in its darkness, and by the dawn as it breathes away the darkness; this is the word of an honourable messenger, having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, obeyed, moreover trusty. Your companion is not mad. He saw him in the clear horizon. Nor is he of those who withhold the Unseen. Nor is it the word of an outcast Satan. Whither then are you going? This is naught but a reminder to the nations, for him who wills among you to go straight. And you shall not will except as Allah wills, the Lord of the worlds.
