    Translation of Surah Al-Balad in English:<\/h2>\n

    I do not swear by this land,<\/p>\n

    And you are a resident of this land,<\/p>\n

    And a parent and what they have begotten.<\/p>\n

    Indeed, We have created man in toil.<\/p>\n

    Does he think that no one has power over him?<\/p>\n

    He says, “I have wasted my wealth lavishly.”<\/p>\n

    Does he think that no one has seen him?<\/p>\n

    Have We not made for him two eyes,<\/p>\n

    A tongue and two lips,<\/p>\n

    And have We not shown him the two paths?<\/p>\n

    But he has not attempted the steep path.<\/p>\n

    And what will make you know what the steep path is?<\/p>\n

    It is the freeing of a neck,<\/p>\n

    Or feeding on a day of hunger,<\/p>\n

    An orphan of near relationship,<\/p>\n

    Or a needy in misery.<\/p>\n

    Then he is of those who believe and enjoin patience and enjoin compassion.<\/p>\n

    Those are the companions of the right.<\/p>\n

    But those who disbelieve in Our verses, they are the companions of the left.<\/p>\n

    For them is a fire, closed in.<\/p>\n

    How to pronounce Surah Al-Balad in English<\/h2>\n

    (for those who can not read the Arabic text but want to do the correct pronunciation)<\/p>\n

    Laa ‘uqsimu bihaadha al-baladi<\/p>\n

    Wa ‘anta Hillun bihaadha al-baladi<\/p>\n

    Wa waalidin wa maa walada<\/p>\n

    Laqad khalaqna al-‘insaana fee kabadin<\/p>\n

    AyaHsabu ‘an lan yaqdira ‘alayhi ‘ahadun<\/p>\n

    Yaqulu ‘ahluktu maala lubadan<\/p>\n

    AyaHsabu ‘an lam yarahu ‘ahadun<\/p>\n

    ‘Alam naj’al lahu ‘ayneeni<\/p>\n

    Walisanan wa shafateeni<\/p>\n

    Wa hadaynaahu al-najdayni<\/p>\n

    Falaa ‘iqtahama al-‘aqabata<\/p>\n

    Wa maa ‘adraka ma al-‘aqabatu<\/p>\n

    Fakku raqabatin<\/p>\n

    ‘Aw ‘it’aaman fee yawmin thi masghabatin<\/p>\n

    benefits of Surah Al-Balad<\/h2>\n

    Surah Al-Balad is the 90th chapter of the Quran and is a Makkan surah. It contains 20 verses and is one of the shortest surahs in the Quran.<\/p>\n

    The benefits of Surah Al-Balad include:<\/p>\n

    1. It encourages us to be patient and seek Allah\u2019s help in times of difficulty.<\/p>\n

    2. It teaches us to be thankful to Allah for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us.<\/p>\n

    4. It reminds us of the rewards of those who are obedient to Allah.<\/p>\n
